Professional Standards

All osteopaths undergo comprehensive training, completing a four year degree course involving the study of anatomy, physiology, pathology and biomechanics, combined with a minimum of 1000 hours of clinical training.

The profession is regulated by the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC), which sets and promotes high standards of competency and conduct.

The GOsC also maintains a list of all UK registered osteopaths.

For more information you can visit the GOsC's website at www.osteopathy.org.uk.
